Empty

An empty yolk sac is all we saw yesterday.... It is very small and does not look promising. Unless a miracle happens, it looks like this will be m/c # 5. I cannot do this anymore, this is killing me, my husband and my marriage.

Journey So Far

We got married in 2003 and actively started TTC in 2005. Between 2005 and 2009 I have had 7 miscarriages. My first two were miscarried naturally after 8 weeks. I've had four D&C's and one medically managed miscarriage. In 2010 I had an ectopic pregnancy. I have been tested for everything you can possibly imagine. In 2007 I was diagnosed with a septate uterus and had surgery to correct it. That's where the name of this blog came from because I started 2008 with a newly remodeled ute. In 2009 after m/c #7 I was diagnosed with elevated NK cells and heterozygous for MTHFR, PA1 and Factor VIII genes. This has been one fucked up journey and I'm still not sure where it will end. If I get pregnant again the plan is mega folic acid, baby aspirin, lovenox and intralipids. Right now we are exploring adoption. I'm doing Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture and trying a gluten free diet.
