Hospital

Yesterday I was admitted to the hospital. My cervix has funneled to .7cm, baby is head down and I'm having contractions. They gave me my first round of steroids and I will get the second round in about an hour. After a very restless sleepless night they decided to put me on procardia to slow down the contractions. Dr. T. says he doesn't think I'm going to go into labor but we don't need the added stress from the contractions. The NICU doctor came to see me last night to talk about what will happen if we deliver this early. He had better survivability stats than I had read for 25 weeeks 4 days. Of course everything is a lot better if we make it to 28 weeks or more. DH is freaking out and I am having to be the strong one. Brave faces everyone.

Yikes!! I was hoping not read this! At least you will be carefully monitored in the hospital and they will take good care of you. Hang in there lil baby just for a while longer - your mama isn't quite ready to meet you yet because you still have some growing inside to do!

Oh sweetheart.. I hope you have some additional family support around for yourself and your husband and that your own perinatologist is around to look after you.

A friend of JJs dropping by to give you a virtual hug and let you know we are thinking of you out here in Cali. Sounds like you are in good hands so we will keep our fingers crossed that you keep cooking as long as you can.

Hello, I am friends with JJ over at Reprojeans. I saw her tweet and followeds it over to give u a virtual hug and say Hang in there. I was funneling and put on bedrest at 25 weeks with my twins. I was scared and unsure and at the drs all the time. While I know that hospital bed rest is so much different than being monitored at home, I do understand the fear of just being told u need to sit. My sons are 3 now....so I'm sending my prayers and love and good vibes. Thinking of you!
